is based upon the belief that Scripture will interpret Scripture when personal bias is left out of the deduction. Whether symbolic, spiritual, literal or whatever the interpretative method, Scripture will not contradict when "rightly dividing the word of truth."

Professing Christians? Added:
March-17-04
Question: In an article I received it said that about 50 to 80% of professed Christians will be staying behind at the Rapture. Why are 80% of church members not Christian? Answer: I agree that there are many individuals in congregatons all across America who attend church regularly who are not Christians. However, I cannot go so far as to give a percentage. I believe that would be an attempt to judge who is saved and who is not and that is wrong. I don't know where your sources (not herein mentioned) got their numbers, but I would not trust in percentages based on others relationship with Christ. I do know that many Revivals are occurring at the present time with many church members professing that they had never truly been saved. I'm more than happy that people realize the difference between church membership and salvation. I do know there are many people who profess Christianity yet live ungodly lives. The Bible tells me that by their fruit we will know them. I truly believe that such individuals have only lip service and no true comittment. This sort of "fruit inspection" is quite obvious, however, those who live good moral lives cannot be judged in this way. All I know to do is love the people, proclaim the Truth, and let the Holy Spirit send the conviction.
